Connecting Kings Worthy development group

The next meeting is planned for 9th February 7 pm at Tubbs Hall.

If you have heard of Connecting Kings Worthy but not sure what its all about, why not come along.

We will looking forward at the events planned in the village through the SAVE project and our vision for Kings Worthy.

Project stakeholders visit the village

Representatives from Scottish & Southern Energy Network and Southern Water met with residents to hear about what the SAVE project could do for the village.

 

Walking Kings Worthy competition launched

17 October 2016

A local competition aimed at getting locals out walking around the village this autumn. We have 12 photos of places around the village that need to be identified. Using the map provided, you need to identify all 12 sites to have a chance of winning £30 or if you want to stick to 6 sites, you could win £10.

Entries forms can be downloaded here and need to be posted in the boxes at Tubbs Hall or KW Primary School by 5pm on 11th November. Winners will be announced on the website on  14th of November.

Kings Worthy Walking map in development

26th September 2016

Following the successful “sneaky shortcuts and cheeky cut-throughs” day on the 22 July, A map of the paths around the area has been developed.
We have been testing it out with the new parents at Kings worthy Primary school. In the next few week all families at the school should receive a map and we how to get copies to the wider community.

Look out for the walking competition being held over the October half term holiday which challenges everyone to identify 10 places from around the area from photos.
